Graduation from an accredited EMT program. Must possess a current valid EMT certification as issued by IDPH- Bureau of EMS and BLS certification. Must possess valid chauffeur license.

The Surgical Aide assists with surgical room turnovers and cleaning between surgical procedures and end of day terminal cleaning.

Responsible for coordination of scheduling and billing activities within the Surgery and Anesthesia Departments.

Enhances hospital services through the effective and efficient registration of all patients by obtaining complete and accurate demographic and financial information in or to provide quality patient services while maintaining confidentiality at all times. Operates switchboard to relay incoming calls, outgoing calls and pages, screens visitors and releases patient room information when authorized.

This role is responsible for serving as a liaison between our patients and clinical staff. The Office Assistant works at both the Winfield and Wayland clinics and is responsible for greeting, directing and scheduling patients, as well as, registration of patients, and the collection of insurance information and payments.

The surgical technologist assists with care of the surgical patient during the intraoperative phase of care. The CST is very knowledgeable and skilled using surgical instrumentation.

Qualified candidates are eligible for a $10,000 Forgivable Loan.(Similar to a sign-on bonus.)   Iowa RN License in good standing.  Surgical RN circulator experience strongly preferred.  experience with scrubbing, sterile processing a plus.  Position requires AHA, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (can obtain ACLS, PALS after hire); AORN or other relevant memeberships preferred, effective communication skills, flexibility and attention to detail a must.

Functions as part of the nursing care team by delivering basic care to residents in accordance with the department’s philosophy, standards of care, Health Center’s policies and procedures, and established care plans. Provides resident centered care and promotes a more homelike environment based on each resident’s preference. Must have current C.N.A. certificate and BCLS.
